Author Guido Villani
| About author | Guido Villani was born in Naples in 1956 and lives in Baia since '90. A passionate diver since childhood, he started in 1982 to take part and classify in several national and international underwater photography contests. Marine biologist at the Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry of National Council of Research (CNR-ICB) in Pozzuoli (Naples), Guido has participated in many diving campaigns for sampling and photographic documentation in the Mediterranean and in several foreign countries. He collaborates with the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Naples "Parthenope", the Zoological Station "Anthon Dohrn" and the section of the Napolitan CoNISMa Surveying underwater photos and video in Marine Protected Areas. Guido is the author of the photographic book CAMPANIA – Emozioni nel blu, Formia (LT) 2005 (ISBN: 88-87835-71-3). |
