Author Michal Štros

About author Michal Štros - biologist, scientist and underwater photographer. Michal has won a number of awards in international underwater photography competitions, such as in the Ocean Art 2020/2021 and the International Film and Underwater Photography Festival PAF Tachov - Czech Republic - 2020/2021 and 2023 - 2025. Recently, he presented a new underwater photography technique using vintage lenses with the front element reversed (https://divemagazine.com/underwater-photography/unique-effects-of-modified-digital-lenses-underwater). His photographs are regularly exhibited and published in international magazines. Michal has also published a book "The World of Silence through the Lens of Underwater Art Photography" which can be purchased from the author (uw.art.michalstros@gmail.com) or on Amazon.
